Who is eligible to participate in T Quiz League 2024?
All schools in Oman are eligible to participate in the competition. The quiz is open to middle school students (equivalent of Grade 5 to Grade 8) or ages of 10 years – 13 years. Schools can use internal selections to form their teams. One team per school is allowed to register for the qualifier round of the quiz.
Each team must have a teacher coordinator from the school, who will be the sole point of contact with Muscat Media Group representatives for any queries about the quiz. The coordinator must be present with the students on the dates of qualification and filming.
Immediate family members of Muscat Media Group and sponsors of the quiz are not eligible to participate.
What is the team size and composition?
The team should comprise 3 students, with a maximum of one child in each grade (eligible grades are Grade 5 to Grade 8). As the quiz is recorded and televised, we encourage you to have 2 students as back ups to avoid forfeits, in case any student is absent on the day of recording.

What are the dates of qualifiers and filming?
The qualifiers will be held in Muscat, Oman in the last week of May 2024. The filming will happen over 2 weeks in May-June 2024 at Downe House Muscat. The qualifiers will be in the form of a written test. Based on the number of teams qualifying, the format of the recorded rounds will be advised. Please ensure that your participants will be available during this time before registration.
What are the quiz topics?
Topics are general and will include Math, Science, Geography, English, Pop Culture, Sports, Literature and Oman. The quiz will be conducted in English, and all participants are required to be able to converse in English.

Will the team get any travel allowance to reach the venue of the quiz?
No. Teams are responsible for their own transport to and from the venue, and must be supervised by their teacher coordinators. There will be no travel or participation allowance given to the teams.
